Here is where I learn my lesson about skipping an FMJRA Saturday

February 20, 2010

Now I have about 70 emails to go through. Not many compared to a lot of bloggers, but it’s Saturday morning and I am lazy.

The Daley Gator linked Yvonne Strahovski and added me to his blogroll.
The Classic Liberal came thru as usual with another link to Yvonne via Carrie Underwood discussing wind power

Dustbury linked the freaky fish evolution and my speculation on Iran’s super-special nuclear announcement.

The Classic Liberal and I have an ongoing debate on whether the gold standard is viable in today’s world. He continued the discussion here.

The Daley Gator offered some thanks for being added to the blogroll. Since I am the actual beneficiary in the form of more traffic I actually owe the thanks. He also linked the Maverick missile strike on the terrorists. Everyone loves dead terrorists.

The Classic Liberal linked Antonin Scalia’s comments on secession. We had a nice ling discussion about it in the comments of the post.

Dustbury wonders how much I should charge to let people watch me whack Glenn Beck. Whatever the market will bear 🙂 The liberal moms over at Navyformoms liked my outburst too. Making friends one temper tantrum at a time.

Honesty In Motion linked about Pakistan and the Taliban.

All caught up now. Thanks for the links everyone.

Ron Paul supporters taking over CPAC? According to ABC they were the driving force behind booing down the guy making the homophobic remarks yesterday.

Barack Obama is going to publish his version of health care reform.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – President Barack Obama is expected to publish his healthcare plan as early as Sunday or Monday, combining features of the two Democratic bills passed by the Senate and House of Representatives, congressional aides and healthcare advocates said on Friday.

The administration’s bill will aim to jump-start the stalled healthcare overhaul and comes just days ahead of a planned televised White House summit with congressional Republicans, who are calling on Democrats to scrap the bills and start over with a far less sweeping proposal.

meanwhile Harry Reid is apparently signaling support for going the reconciliation route.

Matthew Yglesias continues to spread the myth that the guy who flew that plane into the IRS building in Austin was a right-winger. Of course it’s Think Progress so what can you expect (hint: no thinking and no progress).

That’s about it other than noting I am extremely bored with all the CPAC stuff. Sour grapes maybe because I am not there. On the other hand I am not in Washington DC so that’s a plus.

I don’t think the Paulestinians are taking over CPAC so much as everyone else will take a lesson in being organized.

I was just going with the title from the article at ABC. I’m not a Ron Paul fan but his organization does have the ability to push people out to events.
