About

Who am I?

That’s a hard question but I think the title of the blog gives you a hint. My profile a little more but you probably want more. OK then –

My name is Jennifer (legally changed) although I go by Jenn and as the title implies I am a pre-op transsexual with strong conservative politics. I am currently unemployed but I normally work as an Electrical Engineer.

My life has gone through a lot of changes (and not just the ones you are thinking of get your minds out of the gutter). I recently broke up with my boyfriend of 5+ years because he decided that he wanted a “real wife” and kids. That was a bitch but it’s not the first time it has happened.

Personal History –

I grew up in Montana. Dropped out of high school in 1980 went back in 81 dropped out again and got my GED. Joined the Navy in ‘82 and served 5 years as a Gen Duty Seaman, HM striker, and finally as a Corpsman. Got out in ‘87 and moved to LA. Tried out for the LAPD and LA Sheriffs then changed my mind. Started dressing around then. After that life went down hill a bit. Moved to San Diego started hanging out with the wrong crowd in the North Park area and did the mandatory drug / sleaze thing. Got arrested and after a couple nights in jail decided “You know what these people are idiots” so when I got to court I basically begged for a decent plea bargain. I had never been arrested before and I had a good record in the Navy so everyone took a little mercy on me and I caught a break. Walked out of there went back to the crappy apartment I was sharing with my bf at the time packed my shit and left. Probably a little cold but I was arrested because I was trying to keep him in drug money. Went back to school. Got a degree. Then I moved to the Seattle area where I have been living as a woman full time ever since.

so there you go anything else you want to know you have to ask.

Politics –

Well I am a fiscal conservative social libertarian. I believe small local government is the best at delivering most services I also believe that most personal life decisions are none of the government’s business.

There you go that’s me in a nutshell.

OK now the money question – why am i blogging?

Well I was searching around for people I knew in the navy and college and came across a blog that belonged to a guy I was stationed with. That started me thinking that hey maybe I should start a blog too. If nothing else it will eat up time until I find a jobs.

I’m an ’87 graduate of Franklin HS in Seattle, and served on three different ships out of San Diego.
My recommendation is to blog a lot and develop writing skills, then write some fiction. Your bio seems like it must have brought you into some genuinely interesting situations.
    Best wishes,
    Chris

As a graphic design, I truly like the new look. It is much more reader friendly and I’m sure will drive more traffic.

What you are missing is a cool banner at the head of the page.
Would you be interested in some help in that?

I designed a banner for Conservatives4Palin around the time the Governor resigned from office. I sent it to them to see if they’d be interested, but they never got back to me.

    There loss. : (

Thanks. I appreciate it. I don’t have time to update my blog roll or answer any more comments at the moment but I will try and get to it this evening. If not then definitely tomorrow.

Just saw a video of John Ringo interviewed at a con, where he explained his bestseller THE LAST CENTURION was essentially written as a series of blog posts. So, sticking with the blog and developing your literary chops will undoubtedly lead to a book of quality. And, OBTW, saw your pic elsewhere, and you do look sharp.

I agree but the crowd I was hanging with lived in North Park which probably tells more than it should about both myself and the people I was hanging around with.

    Jenn,

I’m Edward Semer, undergraduate research assistant to Dr. Diana Cohen. Dr. Cohen is an associate professor of Political Science at Central Connecticut State University. She’s conducting an online survey about conservative activism on the internet.

    We want your input.

Cohen intends to refute Matt Kerbel’s thesis in Netroots: Online Progressives and the Transformation of American Politics: online activism being dominated by liberals. That is where this survey’s results will come in.

It’ll increase awareness of what conservative blogs perform well at, your audience’s profile, how on-line activism is conducted and in what ways your contemporaries spread information.
There’s no downside to describing what you do, only an upside of macroscopically understanding it.

Here’s where to take the survey:

Please invite other conservative bloggers to take the survey also; the more, the merrier.

P.S. At first, I thought to disqualify you as a conservative blogger because of your social stance. Then I reinterpreted your ideology as kind of a dual-citizenship. Maybe I was over-thinking . . .

You seem to be someone I could really understand.I will be honest and admit I am a weird person just to let you know who is a radical transgenderist who lives in East Nashville (I wish I could move somewhere else but can’t afford to yet) which means I identify as a young woman even though I’m male and at the same time I am also a peaceful white nationalist who likes the truthful thinking of paleoconservatives at the Council Of Conservative Citizens and I visit their website daily.I keep my transgenderist ways a secret and to myself only as much as possible.

Jesus can fix you. And remember when you die and go to see him all the change you made will fly off. You don’t leave the planet with you new part. Nice to realize what a waste of time it is to make all those changes huh?

Hi Jenn – I am so happy to find your blog. I too am a transsexual conservative/libertarian – although quite a bit older than you (I am in my sixties) and retired. I live in Virginia full time as a woman and am a former business owner and was a conservative activist during my college days (Ohio State BA in Economics). I was thinking about starting a blog – but am a little behind the learning curve – when I was in college, even the IBM PC had not been invented. Anyway, I would love to make contact with you and give you whatever moral and other support that I can. Please contact me at the email address I have left and I will respond as soon as possible. BTW – I also used to be an officer in a Washington DC’s TransGender Education Association – so I am very real.

Hey Chris, welcome. Thanks for the support offer and I may take you up on it at some time but life is going pretty well at the moment. I probably will be in contact in the next couple weeks just because there are that many like us out there so we need to stick together. Have a good one.

Thanks, Jenn. I look forward to hearing from you. I also would love your advice etc on setting up my own blog. I am glad things are going smoothly for you. Hope that continues.
BTW – did you notice that “Rab” (above) was probably just trying to pull your chain? He didn’t capitalize “him” in his post. Heh

    Hi Jenn.
I like your blog because not only do you talk about politics but have music breaks. I work with a pro-American / pro-Conservative rock band. It might not be your style of music since I did notice Pete Wentz’s xwife’s video on your blog. HAHA I have to admit I do like Ashley’s first album even if she didn’t write it. Anyways. Please feel free to check the following video out and would love to see you share it with your readers. Madison Rising just got denied permit to perform at Zuccotti even though Third Eye Blind (who I do like) was allowed to perform with out permit. Kind of not fair since the only reason Madison Rising was denied was because of the message they are trying to deliver.

Well, as the old saying goes, you never know what you’re going to find until you start looking.
I always knew we had a big tent on the right, but i never suspected it was quite this big 🙂

At any rate I hope all works out for you….and make no mistake it will work out, often not it the way we envisioned it. Remember what Winston Churchill would say “KBO…Keep Buggering On.”

    Hi Jenn-
I’ve come to appreciate Tgirls over the last 6 months and understand a bit where you are, also a fiscal conservative and social libertarian. It is good you are speaking out so someday our society will understand. It will be a long road.
