The FEMA Camp myth making a comeback?

March 26, 2010

This myth has been debunked so many times but The Classic Liberal has it again.

-elsewhere-

Ann Althouse wonders where the President she voted for is? Exactly where everyone who examined what thin record he had left knew he was, Fantasyland. It amazes me that so many presumably educated intelligent people were sucked in by this guy.

    How, amazed?
BHO represents the culmination of a century-long project.
Do not under-estimate the religious value of Progressivism. I’ve a half-formed project in mind to take a catechism text from a traditional church of some kind and twist it into the Progressive Catechism.
Unfortunately, as with the Al Sharpton remark the other day about the country choosing Socialism, when the comedy cleaves too close to the bone, the humor is diminished.

Will the FEMA camps be along the NAFTA highway? Will Mexican police be the guards? Will they serve Canadian bacon?

I believe the answer to all is yes.

Hey, I didn’t say they were there … but I posted legislation that’s been proposed to build them.

It HAS happened before too. Not to mention the other weird things that lead you in that direction in that post.

I didn’t say that you believed it just that you had the links, but it has been pretty thoroughly debunked.

Thanks. There are a number of others who did similar work and as I recall Ron Paul even said that people were wrong about the bill and the camps.

As much as I love the DPUD crew, I can’t believe they fell for this one as well:

I hadn’t seen that one, but it looks like they backed off pretty quick. People are too worked up right now. I haven’t had a chance to read all 2000+ pages of the HCR bill plus the various changes but what I know is there is enough to hate about it without inventing or taking things out of context.
