It’s Amazing

December 29, 2009

The NY Times actually has a piece examining some of the consequences of Obamacare. I am calling hell to see how deep the snow is.

-elsewhere-

Curses Foiled Again excerpts a letter that I just have to believe is sarcasm/satire. No one person can be this stupid. It usually takes a committee.

(original letter)

Legal Insurrection points out that Justice Scalia was right about the consequences of releasing Gitmo detainees.

USMC report on Anbar Awakening blames US for the insurgency

“In Iraq to a very large degree, we — the U.S. military and civilians — were the source of the insurgency. Honest men and women can argue the whys, what-ifs, and what-might-have-beens, but ultimately, it was mostly about unfulfilled promises and the heavy-handed military approach taken by some over the summer of 2003 that caused events to spiral out of control.”

After some reflection, I agree that it’s likely the letter was intended as satire. My post has been updated to reflect that. Thanks for the link (and linked right back)!

Sadly though, I have personally met individuals that really are that stupid – no committee necessary.

Sometimes it’s hard but I have to hold out some hope for the human race 😀
