What a horrible way to wake up

September 24, 2009

Woke up, turned on the news and Obama was chairing the UN Security Council. Even worse he was busily trying to destroy American security and sovereignty. Switched over to the recording of last nights Red Eye and the first thing up was Qaddafi speaking to the UN. My day may be ruined.

Just as disgusting – The Washington Post which refuses to review books by Glenn Beck, Mark Levin and Michelle Malkin, turns over one of their blogs to to authors to respond to a criticism that Michelle Malkin made on her blog. (I hope you could follow that). I don’t really care about either of these things in isolation, if the Post wants to alienate readers by not reviewing books that are at the top of the various best seller lists that is their business, same with who they let blog on their pages, but the combination of the two combined with the fact that they are responding to a post on Malkin’s blog indicates a bias that should be disturbing to people.

A concern troll targeting Robert Stacy McCain? Cynthia Yockey presents some pretty damning evidence. My familiarity with Charles Johnson is limited but as I said before it seems to me he is slowly killing himself off.

Kids literally singing the praises of the Dear Leader -Sorry I am informed that name is trademarked by Kim Jong Il – President Obama. I suppose a North Korea like cult of personality is appropriate seeing how the administrations social and economic policies seem to be based on theirs.

Scary not disgusting but still a day ruiner-

WASHINGTON — The terror probe that burst into the spotlight in New York last week may have led authorities to the first active al Qaeda cell uncovered inside the U.S. since the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks, according to officials familiar with the matter.

Current and former U.S. officials say the allegations in the case embody their worst fears — that a legal U.S. resident could quietly leave the country, receive explosives training from al Qaeda in a lawless region of Pakistan, then return to U.S. soil.

QandO points out (yet another) nanny state hypocrit – Michael Bloomberg

Update – Just came on Fox News that the guy they were talking about in the Wall Street Journal article I linked above has been indicted for conspiring to detonate weapons of mass destruction in the US. Scary. I am wondering how much various Bush era policies have had to do with disrupting this plot. My guess is that we will never know because they don’t support Obama’s meme.

Don’t worry about McCain, you need to pray for the troll. Evisceration, disembowelment, figuratively, of course, are two of many things that the troll will face. McCain is like a samurai with that keyboard as his blades.

The Bush era policies that are still in place will keep us safe a while longer. That is, until “El Uno” thinks he can do better and utterly fails at it.
